FSAI, Pension Trustee Practitioner (PTP)
Rosemary Burke is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland having been admitted in 1998. She holds a 1st Class Hons. BA in Mathematics (1991) from TCD. She qualified in 2019 as a Pension Trustee Practitioner (PTP). She has 25 years of experience in life assurance and pensions across the whole spectrum covering the development of life assurance and pension products, actuarial review of defined benefit pension schemes, investment strategies for pension funds and interpretation / implementation of changes in pension legislation and Revenue practice. She has also provided services to smaller regulated investment and pension companies. In particular, she has acted as Head of Compliance to ensure these companies meet the standards and responsibilities required of them by governing bodies such as the Financial Regulator. As a professional trustee director since 2010, Rosemary Burke has extensive trusteeship experience in all aspects of pension and group risk scheme governance and management, both in day-to-day oversight and in dealing with complex benefit structures and decision-making.
